The Coventry Grid Project

An exciting photo project is underway in Coventry asking for participants of all abilities, whether you have a camera or just a phone you have the opportunity to join the Coventry Grid Project.

The photography project “Emerging from Lockdown” is being run by the The Grid Project in association with Coventry UK City of Culture and Warwick University from Saturday 31st July to Sunday 15th August 2021. It forms part of the Resonate festival.

Those who live, work or visit Coventry will be invited to take part in a map-based photographic survey of central Coventry.

“We’re making a photographic mosaic of central Coventry and we want you to participate.

We’ve drawn a grid over the area and we want contributions - photos - which are taken from within the circles shown on the map.

Once taken, send them to us and we will
• Include them on the Grid Project website at
www.thegridproject.org.uk

• Display them in an exhibition at the Warwick Arts Centre in November”

From Saturday 31st July to Sunday 15th August (inclusive).

There will be presentations in Coventry at which you can sign-up to join in:

10.30 Saturday 31st July, Herbert Gallery
14.30 Saturday 31st July, Herbert Gallery
10.30 Saturday 7th August Caribbean Association

These will be free, but ticketed events. Visit warwick.ac.uk/resonate to book, or follow the link at www.thegridproject.org.uk
